There is approximately 40 minutes until that clock strikes 12 homiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiies- but by the time i finish writing this it'll probably be less >.<
So basically what i did today was CLEAN THE HOUSE, EAT, WATCH SOME SHOWS, BLUDGE, GO TO A PARTY, COME HOME AND PLAY AWESOME JENGA, GO ON MSN TO CHAT FRIENDS THAT ARE AT HOME ETC, AND COUNT DOWN THE MINUTES TILL THE BIG 1-1 TURNS 1-2.
*clears throat* I have devised a short new years resolution:
1. study more
2. use time more efficiently
3. sign up for gym for better workout results
4. learn how to properly socialize with the other human inhabitants of planet Earth
5. Buy nice clothes and please go to that comic book store you've been dying to visit for months
6. start BOW for visual arts
7. be on top of conserving your allowance
8. health eating? I know it's hard, but you can't do it.. No wait YOU CAN ... :)
9. Note take like how you did in year 10, the first half, not the second.. the 3nd was just sloppy TSK TSKKKK 'me'
10. have more confidence. I also want you to enter talent quest and year 12 concert... it's the last time you can do it hon!
So, off the top of my head just then.. that's what i came up with as my new yrs reso.
LOL
approx 35 mins left :p see ya then peeps

Canberra
Yes, I went to Canberra over the last couple of days and I only just got back around 9.30 last night. Overall, I'd say my trip was fun :)It had some of its downsides (i.e horrible flip out bed and blanket). Anyways, like I was saying OVERALL it was cool :) Some of the places I went over the course of my time there were:
1. The war memorial (which is HUGE- I didnt end up viewing the whole place ==')
2. Black mountain/ telstra tower (HUGGGE, and their ice chocolates are DEFINITELY a desert, so don't consume it as actual 'food' - Just a heads up (wm) :p )
3. The mint factory (I was 'queen for a day' here LOL, and I pressed my own coin :p )
4. Cockington Green (EVERYTHING WAS MINIATURE... except ME! and all the other human beings ...)
5. dc comic book shop (OH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH)
6. The place I was staying at :p (which had an AWESOME GYM might I add)
So, that's just a very short, very quick re cap of my time at Canberra :p

camping
Yes, I went camping for a couple of days and it was heaps of fun,if I may say so :)
I did a lot of stuff whilst I was there, and I think it was mostly fun because of the general spirit that comes around when you're with family and friends.
Hm some of the stuff I did :)... well :
I went bike riding- a lot; and that caused some major damage to my body... in a good way? I suppose. And of course, the weather up at Forster was better than I expected. I actually thought it was rain during the day.. thus inhibiting me from doing anything but sitting around in the tent (though i'm sure, with my cousin we would have some how made that entertaining in itself). So, because of the pleasant weather, we went to the pool. But of course we didn't plan going there. We just jumped in after we rode our bikes there (oh yes, we were very smart that way).
Then there was that moment we got lost because we decided it would be nice to take a leisurely stroll late at night ... just after we rode our bikes (honestly, riding a bike when you can barely see anything but that tiny torch you're grasping on to is more fun than it sounds... and if you get paranoid quickly, make sure there's someone with you LOL. Like me- turned out my paranoia was a false alarm :$ oops)
All in all it was a pleasant experience and of course I tasted the wonderfully roasted marshmellows :D Made up "scary" stories in the tent and shone my torch everywhere :)
And yes... the flies were present and ever so persistent. I was like live bait to them =='
Anyhoo, that's all from me today, I might post up some pics/ videos of it later on, which brings me to say! - I'm going to go to Canberra tomorrow ! :) Till the morning of the 31st :p at which point I should be back in el Sydneyo

Overprotective
Lets start with the word 'over'. It can be defined as:
1. above in place or position: the roof over one's head.
2. above and to the other side of: to leap over a wall.
3. above in authority, rank, power, etc., so as to govern, control, or have jurisdiction regarding: There is no one over her in the department now.
4. so as to rest on or cover; on or upon: Throw a sheet over the bed.
5. on or upon, so as to cause an apparent change in one's mood, attitude, etc.: I can't imagine what has come over her.
The definition I am focusing on is the 4th.
Now to define 'protection':
1. the act of protecting or the state of being protected; preservation from injury or harm.
2. a thing, person, or group that protects: This vaccine is a protection against disease.
3. patronage.
Both of these words are pretty positive. But when they're combined they can be pretty suffocating. It's not a bad thing per say. I mean, it shows that those people 'overprotecting' you, do care about you. But sometimes a person just needs their own space and needs to do their own thing. After all, those people won't always be there to catch you when you fall. So, isn't it best to learn and make those decisions now, when they're around... then when they're gone.

Respect
The several definitions of respect:
1.esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: I have great respect for her judgment.
2.deference to a right, privilege, privileged position, or someone or something considered to have certain rights or privileges; proper acceptance or courtesy; acknowledgment: respect for a suspect's right to counsel; to show respect for the flag; respect for the elderly.
3.the condition of being esteemed or honored: to be held in respect.
unfortunately, respect within this society seems to be directed in all the wrong places, or is non existent.
But in those rare moments where it is where it should be and is alive and blossoming, I smile. And for a while I feel like humanity isn't degrading itself into the lower stoops of our reconstructed timeline.
I think the romantics were right.

Dexter
Well people, in the last few days quite a lot has happened!
For starters my dad finally purchased a scooter (yay! which means I shall go and get my motorcycle licence soon!)
Additionally I plan to film my first vlog, in the form of a skit, very shortly.
I have also changed my plan for my BOW (major work)- I shall update you guys more on that when I progress more on the idea.
Now on to the more important issue at hand... Dexter's latest episode of this current season! Yes, I just watched it and I have to say OMG he dropped his box! Honestly Michael C Hall portrays Dexter so wonderfully. He is such a good actor- I especially loved his role in Gamer. The fact that he doesn't know which victim was which really interests me- it kind of foreshadows a bit of what could come in his future. Additionally I think in the next few episodes, in order to restore the order of the blood slides in correct formation, he may have to run the blood to see whose it is, so he can restore that 'equilibrium' it gives him.
Can't wait for next weeks episode.

TRAINS
OK usually I don't have problem with trains. We can coexist peacefully. But today... I hate Trains! >=I (no offence Sheldon). It's not only the fact that whenever they're near they make me feel as if I am about to miss my train even though that little information screen says "20 minutes til arrival time" =='
It's the fact that when I'm going to the station and I don't have on my stupid glasses and the train is right there, and its dumb automatic doors are about to shut I have to make a decision- to get on, or keep walking forward, miss that train next to me/ or have made the right decision by not getting on.
Well my gut instinct SUCKS, and as a result of its suckyiness I got on that wrong train and WENT backwards ==' I know what you're thinking- "Well that's not the train's fault!"... But it is! Just the intimidation and 50/50 choices it makes a person feel!!! And albeit I'll probably get over my 'hate' for trains in the next half an hour, but at this precise moment...
OK on a side note, the second day of 'year 12' was good :) No real comment there. However I do have an update for my visual arts Body Of Work- I have decided to do a film, in particular using the technique of Radio scoping... so it'll be an animation :) But I'll still have to ask my teacher for her opinion!
As for the scooter... I will have to sit the motorcycle test (I think that's what it is called) in the 6 weeks school break- it's the most 'available' time for me to study the test etc :)
First day back
Well today was the first day of year 12 (although we are still considered as year 11). Over all today was a good-ish day. OK, so in consecutive order...
1. year meeting in the old library (received new timetables etc)
2. go to first EVER study period :)
3. recess
4. Modern History class
5. PDHPE (last terms yearly exam papers handed out)
5. PDHPE (last terms yearly exam papers handed out)
6.Lunch (canteen raided, school fees paid)
7. Visual Arts- first talk of BOW (I'm really psyched about this- I'll probably mention this again, like the scooter)
Right, now I plan to scoot off and make a study timetable... and yes I know, chances of me following study timetable are slim- but nevertheless I have to try :)
OH and you know how I said I'd have to cut back on my shows... well I don't think it'll be much of problem considering half of them go on holidays and the other half's new season starts up. Quick note: Just watched the new episode of Dexter season 6 and I can't wait for next weeks episode (because after episode 1 of this new season, I knew that this was a new Dexter- he seemed different somehow).
Well enough of that!
- signing out :)

Year 12
Well as you may know (or not know- either way) tomorrow is the very first day of Year 12 for the class of 2012? (I think that's how they name classes). How am I feeling about this whole process. Well... I know that I am definitely going to have to CUT back on a lot of television (technically the computer, considering I watch my shows online). I know that I'm going to be stressing out a bit (ok, a lot) and possibly going to collapse within myself thus creating a massive black hole filling up where my Head used to be. OK, OK I am exaggerating a bit (a lot) but I don't really know how I feel about this transition from the Preliminary course to the HSC, quite simply because... The HSC course hasn't started yet (It starts tomorrow, in case you couldn't remember :) )
Either way I feel a storm brewing... and we are not amused :p [ I have always wanted to insert that quote somewhere... It fits doesn't it?]
OK well, I don't know about you (if you're reading this, because their might in actual fact be no one reading this and it'll be me talking to myself. Which is fine considering people do do that...) but, and I know this is going to be completely off topic but... I'm going to go and get my motorcycle licence and drive SCOOTER!
I'll take more about that later... maybe in my next post- whether or not you're there (sigh).
